hello, I am trying to find the best power supply that will be strong enough to run a RPI with a edimax wifi dongle connected. the power supply's below are listed in order by the ones I tried first, number 3 is the one I am currently using. I have tried the brands below some work fine on one RPI but then might not work on the next, some will drop wifi connection:
(1) - AmazonBasics Wall Charger with USB Outlet (2.1 Amp Output)

(2) - EasyAcc US 5V 2A Universal Travel AC Micro USB Wall Charger Adapter long cord for Tablet: Google Nexus 7,Google Nexus 10,Most Smartphone, external battery and other Micro USB Port Devices (1.6M/5.25 Feet Black)

(3) - Samsung OEM 1.0A Travel USB Wall Charger with Detachable Micro USB Data/Charge Cable - Bulk Packaging
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006YC ... UTF8&psc=1
It's odd that one of the above work fine on one board then the next board that I get it will have issues like wifi drop. I see the wifi drop when its doing add-on updates. if I look at the ipad XBMC remote app the green connectivity light turns red then green back and forth. or when I select a link throughout the showing I am watching the app drops connection but the movie plays fine.
I am about to try one of these PowerGen Black 2.4-Amp (12 Watt) Dual USB Wall Charger w/flip down Plug Designed for Apple and Android Devices, its added to my amazon cart as we speak:
