failed to install Arduino

during the installation of arduino, some index files failed to download. How to resolve this

More details please. Which servers failed to work? Did the Arduino package install? What's the contents of your /etc/apt/sources.list? Do this:

sudo apt-get update ; sudo apt-get -y dist-upgrade

and try to reinstall arduino. Let us know what happens.
