I have a strange problem with the raspberry pi camera and raspistill. I have a rpi with the camera module connected to an 1920x1080 monitor. It boots up in the correct resolution.
When I run the following command on the conole:
raspistill -ex auto -awb auto -w 1920 -h 1080 -p '0,0,1920,1080' -v -o test.jpg
The camera preview seems to be "zoomed in" and the actual capture resolution of 1920x1080 is only shown for a brief moment when the actual screen capture happens. I noticed that when I run the command above replacing -p '0,0,1920,1080' with -fp the same thing happens but the output of raspistill shows " Preview window 0,0,1024,768" instead of " Preview window 0,0,1920,1080". I am confused.
