i am using the above microsd card and USB card reader not the MicroSDtoSD card reader and the sd card just isnt showing up anywhere i used to use it for movies on my raspberry pi and one day it just stopped working and it wont show up on the pi on my pc or on my tablet when i try that.any help?

A system restore is a bit extreme IMO. Maybe try a reboot.

Try formatting in a camera.

not if he has lost it from computer lists and a camera will not solve the problem of his sd card holder not being recognized on his computer or load operating system on to sd card
