Sound Dropouts

Thu Dec 05, 2013 8:33 am

Does anyone know the fix for my sound dropout problem?
The sound will drop and come back after aprox 1 second. Vid/sound are good in sync.
Watch the onkyo om my youtube vid, signal lose and signal comming back.

Pi xbmc interface is running @ 60 FPS setting. XBMC will adjust frame limit to video file.

What i have try'd
Swapped raspberry pi
Swapped Power source
Swapped Xbmc distro's (raspbmc,openelec,xbian)
Swapped HDMI cable.
Overwritten fixup.dat & start.elf from this topic: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 58#p454758
Dumped a edid.dat file and used it with command: hdmi_edid_file=1

The only thing what seems to work is to add hdmi_mode=16 @ config.txt. But that will fix everything to 60 hz, When you play a 23.976 video file you will get judder on the screen.

Samsung led tv (2012) - Onkyo 609 receiver - Raspberry pi
Onkyo 1 HDMI out to the TV, and the raspberry attaced on the receiver with HDMI.
