Hi All,
WIFI at my place suffers from lot's of interference (neighbors).
I already did some testing with a WIFI analyzer on the laptop and selected one of the least interfered channels. Still connection quality sucks. Now on top of that the antenna in the EW-7811UN is (obviously) tiny. So lately WIFI connectivity to the RPI was crappy.
I was looking for a tool on the RPI that retrieves WIFI signal strength/quality info from the adapter and provide a nicely formatted report to the user. (i.e. for choosing a spot to put the RPI)
I am using my RPIs headless for 'smart home' management and can move it around the house a bit. (Just want to find a good spot)
Cheers,
Gert
