Slow acting mousepad

Sat Oct 26, 2013 6:04 pm

Hi,
I like my Pi, running Raspbian Wheezy Linux 7, mostly headless. However, sometimes it's nice to have it connected to a 19 inch screen and attach a mouse and keyboard. For that I use a combination like the ACK-540, which has a touchpad inside. http://www.datacal.com/p-835-ack-540-to ... board.aspx (mine is black, actually).

It's connected to the Pi with use of an PS/2 to USB converter which works great. The only small problem is that I can not find the way to have the touchpad respond faster to my finger movement. For a 1280*1024 screen I have to lift my finger and start over about 5 times to get from the left top to the right bottom of the screen. At preferences, keyboard and mouse settings neither the acceleration nor the sensitivity make any difference for my mouse cursor speed.

Is there any other setting I can try to change to have the mouse respond faster ?

TnX,

Ben
