Hi there

I noticed the kernel wasn't compiled with mISDN support. So, if I get the source from the Raspi GitHub repo, it will have all the default linux kernel modules and then I just need to enable it in the .config?

I'm actually trying this very thing except for supporting my usb ir receiver, I'll let you know how it goes, but so far the answer appears to be yes.  I'm making the kernel right on the pi, and it seems to be working fine, it's just taking a long time (about half an hour so far and I'm in fs/).

I tried making it on my notebook and also set the timer to 1000hz... result: Pi booted but I had no networking for some reason (and lots of other warnings at bootup - however it still did boot)

Good that I first made an image before I attempted that

My next try will be on the Pi.

Good morning,

yesterday I compiled my own kernel with mISDN support. So far, the modules for my HFC USB device are loaded at boot.
But now the question is, where to get all the binary files for scanning, configuring etc.?
Any idea?

I am not sure if these are the correct packages: https://www.misdn.eu/wiki/MISDN_v2_Download/
mISDNuser compiled and installed, but I think I need the executables from mISDN, which sais "make modules_install" in the HowTo, but I already have the modules running? I don't want to install the modules again?

Thank you for help!

Just wanted to inform you, that I finally got it. What a crazy mess.
I had to use one of the latest "snapshots" from the website.
