Sat Jul 13, 2013 3:05 pm

After running BRANCH=next rpi-update I can't start hostapd anymore.

[email protected]:~# hostapd /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf
Configuration file: /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf
Could not read interface wlan0 flags: No such device
Could not read interface wlan0 flags: No such device
nl80211 driver initialization failed.

When I compare to previous version of the firmware I found out module ath9k is missing

[email protected]:~# ls -R /lib/modules/3.9.9+/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/ath/
/lib/modules/3.9.9+/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/ath/:
ar5523 ath.ko carl9170

/lib/modules/3.6.11+/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath9k:
ath9k_common.ko ath9k_htc.ko ath9k_hw.ko ath9k.ko

I'm using a TP-LINK TL-WN822N
