raspbmc: Network drops/No connection

Hey guys,
since the last update I encounter regularly network problems. The network connection drops off and the three led's do not show any reaction at all.
What I checked so far:
- I got a new power supply with 5V/3A which should be enough.
- Checked the network cable and tried I don't know how many different
- Checked the switch and replaced it, no change
I tried running tail -f /var/log/messages during operation but when the network stopped working I did not see any event before that.
What else could I check? I'm kind of frustrated right now.
