NOOBS Over HDMI

Sat Jun 08, 2013 5:57 pm

Simple question/problem. When i place the NOOBS on my sd card and boot the pi i get no output over HDMI. is this normal. If i connect a RCA Video cable then i see the recovery. Is it possibble to have the recovery over HDMI. i have another card loaded with openelec and it works fine with HDMI output.

Noobs works fine over HDMI for me. I suggest double-checking connections and config.txt settings.

Apparently there is a problem with NOOBS that is stopping some people seeing the display when using HDMI.

Take a look here for http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 56#p364456

NOOBS is very new, so there are bound to be some "teething problems" initially! They are worked on though.

The main issues that were preventing HDMI output from working correctly in some cases have been fixed in the "dev" branch of NOOBS and will be pushed out in the next release.

See http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... bs#p365811 for more details.
