shift click over vnc

Hi all,

I've run into a problem trying to get scratch working with the piface. I need to shift click on scratch, but this isn't handled over my vnc connection (tightvncserver). It works fine with x forwarding, but then it's too slow.

Anyone got any clues about how to send a shift click over vnc? Or is there a little accessibility application that would let me toggle shift with a mouse click?

This turned out to be a vnc client issue. The tightvnc client on linux doesn't send a shift click properly.
