Connecting to a Monitor

Sat Feb 02, 2013 12:31 am

Hey guys, In the few days I have had my raspberry pi, I have been using it connected to the main tv that I have in my living room, however, I wanted to move it to "the office" where I have ethernet (my house is not wired) to my smaller tv. I have everything plugged in, but it is simply saying no signal on the tv. I have been waiting for about an hour now looking on the internet for a solution in the meantime. To clarify, it worked on the big tv but does not work on the smaller tv.
Thanks for the help guys.

It sure would help if you would tell us how the Pi is connected to the TV (hdmi or composite RCA)
Have you checked the eLinux website for config.txt settings related to video output?

It is connected by hdmi. After waiting about 45 minutes, it suddenly booted up on the screen. So I don't know what the problem was, but it is working now. Thanks anyway.
