Hi,
I'm trying to use my Model A Raspberry Pi but I can't log in using my USB keyboard, which is only a small one, which works fine with my Model B Raspberry Pi. I'm using the same Debian SD card in both Pis.
I do see a message during booting up saying 'Unable to enumerate USB device on port 1' whch I assume has something to do with the problem.
Any suggestions?

Here's how I got hold of a Model A Raspi: http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/2828
and here's a picture:

The power supply I'm using has a DC output of 5V 1000mA +/- 5%

Hi,
I'm having the same problem but my RP is model B.
I've already tried two different keyboards and the problem I've got the same message.
Did you solve the problem?

PROBLEM SOLVED
It would seem that you can't simply take the SD used on a Raspberry Pi B Model and plug it into a Model A. The keyboard now works after creating a new image on a new SD card.

Where did you get the new image file to write to the SD card?Ian3 wrote:PROBLEM SOLVED

Re: USB Keyboard with Model A Raspi
I used the latest Raspbian “wheezy” to create the new image for the Model A. The Debian image I was using with the Model B is quite old now.

Re: USB Keyboard with Model A Raspi
it was probably a firmware upgrade that did it then ;-pIan3 wrote:I used the latest Raspbian “wheezy” to create the new image for the Model A. The Debian image I was using with the Model B is quite old now.
