logitech k400 British mapping

Wed Jan 09, 2013 6:34 pm

Hi,

On the weekend i bought a logitech k400 with british layout.
its all setup as british but what im getting is i believe a U.S layout.

For example " should be @ and vice versa. (plus many other differences)

ive tried some of the fixes ive come accross but all of them seem to be for when us layouts are coming out as british.

btw, just for your info im having none of the dreaded hhhhhhhhhhheeeeellooooo its fine in that way(powered usb hub)
Also the 2 finger scroll and all that side of it is fine.

Any hints please?

cheers

mark

For the 'base system'/command-line this can be configured in the raspi-config ('sudo raspi-config') utility - there is another config required for the graphical/windowing system (LXDE most likely) http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 66&t=18519

thanks very much, it worked!

one of the the big things that helped also was i found it throwing up the following error:

the xkeyboard keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports can't find file for uk symbols include

so i changed it to gb

that combined with the multiple config /log out/login/config/logout fix etc did the trick.

cheers
