NOOBS - VGA MODE NOT SUPPORT

Fri May 01, 2020 1:03 pm

I recently installed the new out of box system (NOOBS) on my raspberry pi 3 modle B v1.2 , it let me install the operating system (raspibian full) but afterwards my monitor just said "VGA MODE NOT SUPPORT" which is made even stranger by the fact that I had been using the same raspberry pi and monitor for months before I damaged the we card and had to replace it. Can anyone tell me what is wrong and how I can fix it please?

So NOOBS works fine and installs Raspbian ok, but when you boot into Raspbian is when the "VGA mode not supported" error is shown by your monitor?

Do you see the 4 raspberries and a lot of scrolling text before that error message?
What default resolution is your monitor?
How old was your previous version of NOOBS or RASPBIAN before your card was damaged? Do you know the version number?
