I'd also do some research to find out what the implications are.
In this case, there are lots of threads here on the forum about this issue, because surprisingly you aren't the first to encounter this.
Almost the first thing you learn from those threads is that C6 isn't really necessary.
Another thing you learn is that returning a Pi under warranty isn't a quick process, so you'd be without your Pi for some time.
And finally you'd learn that anyone whose name is in green or red knows what they're talking about.
