New Pi User - Help with 4” Touchscreen & additional HDMI Monitor

Hello everyone, I’m a brand new Pi 4 user and I’ve recently purchased a 4GB Pi 4, I’ve got everything installed and trying to get both my 4” screen working along with an external HDMI display. Is this possible? I’ve updated the raspberry Pi to the latest version but all I get is a black screen on my secondary monitor. The system loads find on my 4” screen, just don’t get anything on my bigger one.

Cristal ball is out for vacation so, as long as you don't provide more details on your monitors it will be hard to answer.

First question: in case only HDMI monitor is connected is it working?

Thanks for the quick reply, my secondary monitor is a Dell 29" (U2917W) and the other monitor that is actually working is just a 4" Miuezi display within a pi case. The Miuezi display is what shows my Raspberry Pi desktop, just not sure what settings I need to adjust in the terminal to get my dell monitor to output as well.
