PI4 Problems with Philips TV

Tue Jan 28, 2020 8:21 pm

PI4 with original power supply and original hdmi 1m cable.

Eliminated faulty cable and power supply by using second set of each.

Pi4 works perfectly fine when connected to my 2 DELL monitors.

I think the problem lies with my Philips TV. Model is 55PUS7304.

The problem started when i tried the weekly retropie build. I then moved on to test a fresh rasbian setup and the problem is the same.

The problem is :
https://drive.google.com/file/d/16a9w_o ... p=drivesdk
https://drive.google.com/file/d/16XZpci ... p=drivesdk

I then tried many combos from the video FAQ page an dnothing seemed to make it work.

Sometimes i get no TV message when i run "tvservice -s".

All enhanced modes off the TV HDMI ports are off.

Find below the output of tvservice -d edid.dat; /opt/vc/bin/edidparser edid.dat command:
