My raspberry pi 4 4gb version is not booting. It worked completely fine for a couple of days, until just recently it would not boot up. The green led on the board is blinking and the red led is on. I tried reflashing the SD Card and it did not work. Please help!
"Don't come to me with 'issues' for I don't know how to deal with those
Come to me with 'problems' and I'll help you find solutions" Some people be like:
"Help me! Am drowning! But dont you dare touch me nor come near me!"
I was wondering why I would have to use another sd card if it worked previously. Also, heres a bit more information on what is happening. The pi green led is blinking 4 times. It blinks like this whether the sd card is in or out.
1) Mistreatment of card, including improper shutdowns.
2) Cheap no name brands that just aren't up to the job of running an OS.
3) Fake cards that have overwritten existing data with fresh data (eg card reports it's 32gb but is really only 16gb), therefore corrupting the card.
It works awesome! I am writing this on the pi btw. Thank you all so much for your help. One more thing, is there a way to make the chances of the sd card being damaged lower? Thanks again!
More investigation: I reformatted my sd card, installed the 2019-09-26-raspbian-buster.img properly into it, rebooted the Pi 4.
The screen is now black. I can ping my raspberrypi, so it proves it has booted correctly, but I still have a blank screen. My power supply delivers up to 3A, and i use the HDMI cable given with the bundle i bougth.
