Buster & apt-get update

Mon Oct 14, 2019 8:48 pm

Running a PI4 with raspbian. buster. When I try to update, here is what happens:

pi@raspberrypi:~ S sudo apt-get update
Hit:1 http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian buster InRelease
Get:2 http://raspbian.raspberrypi.org/raspbian buster InRelease (15.0kB)
Reading package lists... Done
E: Repository 'http://raspbian.raspberrypi.org/raspbian buster InRelease” changed its “Suite” value from 'testing' to 'stable'
N; This must be accepted explicitly before updates for this repository can be applied. See apt-secure(8) manpage for details.

How do I handle this? I can't even get apt-secure(8) manpage to open.

Run sudo apt update and answer yes to the question. (Note: apt, not apt-get).

After that apt and apt-get will both work.

This has been mentioned a few times on the forums.
