What's in /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf (redact the password and post it here).
Is the wireless AP running with WEP security?
Is the wireless AP running with a hidden SSID?

In the file:

ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_suplicant GROUP=netdev
update_config=1
country=PE
network={
ssid="Arris-2dF5" <---------- yes, thats my network
psk="a1234567" <---------- yes, thats the pswd
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
}

How i check the rest? I didnt make any changes to my router or even to my phone. the Rpi just stopped connecting and after trying some stuff in this forums, i just installed a fresh image of raspbian and libreelec (both in separated SDs).

Thanks for your patient.

You'll get some info from a wpa_cli status command.

You'll get more from iwlist wlan0 scan from iw dev and sudo iw dev wlan0 scan.

You'll also get some info from http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.0.254 or http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.1.254 (one of those is likely to be your router's configuration page).

Spot the difference!

ssid="Arris-2dF5" is not equal to ESSID:"ARRIS-2D5F"

Change it to

Code: Select all

ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_suplicant GROUP=netdev
update_config=1
country=PE
network={
                ssid="ARRIS-2D5F" <---------- yes, thats my network
                psk="a1234567" <---------- yes, thats the pswd
               key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
}
The same is true for your password, beware that "a1234567" is not equal to "A1234567".

Have you tried rebooting your Wireless Access point?
Have you tried connecting your Raspberry to some other network?

You could try "COUNTRY=US" or "COUNTRY=UK" to see if there's a bug in Wpa_Supplicant for Peru.

There's also the ICON on the Raspbian Desktop which should pop-up a connection menu.

Last option is grab a new SDCard, grab a copy of Raspbian Buster 2019-09-26 and see if that works.

Yes, my ipohne, my neighbour's, and is te same: i can see the network, but cant coonect. Actually, the previous reports, shows also the other available networks.

i'm tring this with 2 sd cards: 1 with raspbian and 1 with libreelec, and i have the same problem. I think is not the OS, not my network, and not the SD

You may need to conclude that your hardware is broken.

Not if it fails with a fresh download of Raspbian Buster 2019-09-26 (or NOOBS 3.2.1).
