[HELP] GPIO triggered a keyboard pressed event and sent to a pc

Dear all,

I was wondering to use a raspberry pi zero w and a raspberry pi 3b as a keyboard to send keyboard pressed event command to a laptop or an Android device via usb. After searching on google, it turns out only zero w could be turned as a keyboard.
Besides, I tried the tutorial from the following link, but it did not show anything when I plugged in my pi zero to my laptop.

From the website, it seemed like I missed one step from the tutorial, but I am not sure what should I do with the step:

Now, you have to define your Pi Zero (HID gadget) as a USB keyboard. The configuration is done via ConfigFS, a virtual file system located in /sys/.
