Rasbian then OctoPi Installation

Thu Jul 18, 2019 12:09 am

I downloaded Raspbian, and the Raspberry Pi booted nicely, and all the features that come were Raspbian were available. My problem is that after I flashed OctoPi to the same sd card, a lot of the features weren't there anymore. Is there a way to get all of the Raspbian features back without re-downloading everything individually?

After downloading OctoPi and getting the desktop the only items available in the menu were the graphics (ImageMagick), system tools (terminal), and accessories (file manager, screenshot, and task manager). As such a lot of the functionalities of the raspberry pi were taken off.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The image you downloaded was most likely the pre-built image and would have replaced the full version of Raspbian and not added to it.

Have a look at ... pbian/2337
