Error mounting USB disk on boot since installing retropie

I installed retropie a couple days ago, thought everything was fine. But when I switched back to the Raspbian GUI, I got an error that usbmount@dev-sda.service has failed. I noticed my mounted disks as displayed on my desktop were being listed several times each.

If I went to /media/ where my drives used to be listed, instead of their labels, I get things like usb0, usb1, usb2... With several more entries shown than I have actual partitions.

None of my content is actually accessible.

I manually mounted all the partitions under /mnt/ and they show up there as empty locations.

How do I fix this?
