[Fixed] Raspberry pi won't boot with higher resolution than 480p because of OpenGL

Sun Mar 17, 2019 8:18 pm

as i said, no way to boot with higher resolution. i can't access my desktop or shh anymore, HDMI also not working, well, the whole pi isn't working.
And because logs aren't stored in the Fat32 partition, i can't check what's the problem.

Few days before that, my raspberry was crashing non-stop had to reboot it manually.

trying to check the filesys right now

It sounds like the OS on your SD card has become corrupt (powering down without a proper shutdown would only make that worse).

Start over with a new install of the latest Raspbian, and if that doesn't work, your SD card may have gone bad.

Also, which model Pi, and what are you using for a power supply?
My mind is like a browser. 27 tabs are open, 9 aren't responding,
lots of pop-ups...and where is that annoying music coming from?

Raspberry pi 3B+ OC at 1.55 GHz on CPU, 500 Mhz on GPU & memory.
128 MB GPU split cause i have full KMS driver enabled.
was on raspbian lite before the problem, just flashed a new raspbian img with desktop (the lastest one).

i couldn't use my raspberry without shutting it down manually.
now, i'm re-downloading everythings, ssh over the internet too, in case i can't setup VNC in time.

EDIT : Apparently, OpenGL stoped crashing my pi after i reflashed it, so it wasn't an hardware issue.
