Your post sounds like you tried different SD cards, if not, do try a different SD card if possible.

Does the green activity light on the RPi blink at all?

If the green activity does not blink at all please read the linked to thread below and see if pushing down gently on the sd card helps at all.

How are you writing the SD cards?

I should have suggested you look at the troubleshooting page first. My apologies.

I would have a look here:
www.elinux.org/R-Pi_Troubleshooting

As your issue could still be a power problem or one of the fuses could have gotten tripped and needs to cool down or something along those lines.

For power, the quick thing to try is unplug everything but the sd card and power cord and see if the green light flashes like it is reading the SD card. Then you can plug things in. The trouble shooting page describes all that.

Give it a read over from the beginning as it could help you recognize a symptom we are not seeing.

Let us know if you have any success or not and hopefully we can find a way to help if not.

Glad to hear it is working again.

I would start another thread about the wifi problem in this forum so people who are experienced with wifi can help out.

Need some info like what wifi adapter, what you have in your /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf file (no passwords of course), what you have in your /etc/network/interfaces file, and just for fun, the output of lsusb :O)

See you in that other thread, cheers!
