Is this normal?

Fri Nov 09, 2012 7:10 pm

Hello

I connected my Usb Hdd, so far i can see that it is mounted on reboot but i see something strange when i call the command "mount".

Code: Select all

/dev/sda on /media/Omiez type ntfs (ro,nosuid,nodev,relatime,uid=1000,gid=1000,fmask=0177,dmask=077,nls=utf8,errors=continue,mft_zone_multiplier=1,uhelper=udisk
Is there an error ? If yes how can i solve?

It is basically just telling you how the device is mounted and information about the drive. In this case, it is mounted read-only (ro), relatime is writing of file access times only when the file is being modified, nodev - Don't interpret block special devices on the filesystem, nosuid - Block the operation of suid, and sgid bits.
