No green led out of the sudden

Thu Nov 08, 2012 10:18 pm

Hi thre,
Ive been using my rpi as an headless server for a while now. Everything was working fine when out of the sudden when i turned it on theres no green led which is no boot. I was using debian wheezy all the time, chnged the card to xbnc that was working too, but now its now.
Lan diodes are down too (i gues u need to boot the os to inicialise them).

Ive seen topics where ppl said they are having this issue as an 1st boot bit mine rpi worked well fir a long while.

Have anyone encounterrd this before? Is it a know issue such as faulty part i can resolder (i dond really have the time for hardware debug if thats the case). Maybe i shuld call farnell for warranty?

Any help would be trully aprichiated!

Bump, does anyone reffer to this? I really need my rpi running :(

According to this page http://elinux.org/R-Pi_Troubleshooting# ... on_display (Green LED blinks in a specific pattern), my green led blinks 3 times at the start, which would be:
3 flashes: loader.bin not found
But my os used to work perfectly fine. This is what i get on the screen, it stops on the last line:

It looks like the image on the sd card got corrupted. This can happen due to overclocking. It also can happen if you disconnect the Pi supply without first properly shutting down the OS on it.
So, you could try to reimage the sd card.
Or, you can run a partition check on the sd card using another linux system.
