Help, no led ... :'(

Tue Aug 28, 2018 6:17 pm

Hi everybody,
i was making a robot, all the things worked, but one day, i have turned on the raspberry and no led was on (green and red),
so i've decided to take off all the things on the gpios and i have tried again ... Always no led ....
I thought that my raspberry was dead. But i've tried a last thing : connect a led on the 5v of the raspberry ... And the led was on !!!!
So there is always the electric power through my raspberry ...

Do u think that my raspberry is dead ? Can i try to send it to the constructor to have the warranty (i bought it 8 months ago) ?

I hope that my english is not bad, it's not my native language :D

Have you checked the power supply w/o the pi connected? Do you have another power supply (not a 'phone charger) you can try after leaving the pi unpowered for a day or so (in case the polyfuse has been tripped) w/o any GPIO devices connected? Have you tried with a fresh, up-to-date O.S. on a new/different uSDHC card?
Trev.
Still running Raspbian Jessie or Stretch on some older Pi's (an A, B1, 2xB2, B+, P2B, 3xP0, P0W, 2xP3A+, P3B+, P3B, B+, and a A+) but Buster on the P4B's. See: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_pi/raspiidx.htm

The problem is that when i use my power supply and the sd card on another rpi, it works :/
And i've tried to leave the pi unpowered for around 15hours and it always doesn't work :?

The both are rpi 3b and the psu (for power supply ?) isn't official but it's 2.1A and 5V.

Yea i think it's a little hot.

I bring another precision, it was to build a robot (which working until now) but maybe after a long moment the rpi was overcome ?
(i upload the schema of my electric montage : https://ibb.co/d4dY59)

i want to continue my robot, but i'm scared to lose another raspberry pi, so i've to know what is the problem before :'(

like too hot to touch?
post your schematic on how you connected everything up
if you draw too much umph from the GPIO or put more than 3V on then they you will kill it bad
