Raspberry Pi Forums

I've successfully gotten my camera working, have taken still images (raspistill) and displayed them using the image viewer. I can apparently capture a timed video with raspivid, in .h264 format, the file is there, but I'm not familiar with h264 and have no idea how to view these files.
Is there a viewer out there to play videos on the RaspberryPi? Also can the raspivid command line app create other formats?

omxplayer is built in and can play back h264 files.
