On some occasions raspberry fails to boot, it either complains of init
cannot be found, or some of EXT4_FS inodes cannot be read, while FSCK
on root device does not report any problems.
It happens after regular shut down when the machine is on standby for a
day or so. Then after power on, or reset by switch, this happens.
When I reboot, or shut down and reset, it works alright. It looks as if
rootfs on SD card, which is a brand new one, is simply not ready during boot
after long standby.
I have read about this new `bootcode.bin' here,
https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... bootmodes/,
it describes "..with some bug fixes for the failing Pi 3 cases.", but
I am not sure this is applicable to my case.
I have also tried booting with the above bootcode, but cannot so far see
any difference. Keeping original bootcode on copy.
Any ideas, has anyone been through this?
