rpi 3b+ stopped working? Please help

I had some expirience with rpi before, i used old model that i have borowed. Everything worked fine. Then i bought a rpi3b+, with worked for a few days but now im unable to boot. Im not even getting rainbow screen with suggests that sd card is unreadable, but i tried to reformat and reflash 2 cards, and also using noobs and still no results. Possible Pi damage? I'll add that im unable to boot since i last unplugged power without shutting os down. Thanks for all the help.

I would suggest trying another SD card, a better power supply and/or a better usb cable.

Usb cable is perfectly fine, its a fast charging cable so it ca handle the pi. I was able to boot just with 5v 1a from a pc USB, so power supply shouldnt be a problem, and event if it was it would load a rainbow screen, and then fail to load kernel because it requires higher amp. But i tried it just to make sure, with 5v 2a charger and a new cable - nothing changed.

Ill buy some sd cards and ill also try to give ones that dont work for me to my friend to see if he can boot.

I have read that already and tried reformatting and flashing again sd cards and also using noobs. Havent found much information about rpi3b+, most information relates to older models. Did i miss something?

There was an updated Raspbian Stretch with Desktop release a couple of days ago.

https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspbian/

If you use Etcher it will both unzip and create a bootable SD Card in one operation.

yes you missed that information about other models than the 3B+ also applies (unless the sticky tells you otherwise) to the 3B+

Ok, but how woult it make older versions stopped working? I was successful to boot with the image i reflashed the cards with. But i'll try it anyway, just to make sure. And btw i just tried third sd card- still same thing- power LED is on, but no active LED. Im starting to worry.
Im using etcher already.
