Hello everybody!
I have problem with connecting external hard drive to my raspberry pi 2. I have two external hard drive.

First hard drive is my external drive of 1T and he is using 3,0 usb. I change confing.txt and put max_usb_current=1 after that disk works normaly and rpi sees him normaly.

Second hard drive is problem. It is segate 500gb 2,5'' laptop disk. (I use him as external drive). I connect him to RPI with sata to 2xUSB port cable. After that rpi starts blinking red light and indicates problem with power supply.

I tryed change power supply but no success. I tried with 2,5A and 3A power supply but problem is still there.
What can you advise me?

Thank you!_

Use a powered hub or self powered drives. No matter how much current the PSU feeding your RPi can provide, the RPi has a polyfuse which limits the total current the RPi and USB peripherals can draw.
