Firefox doesn't find installed flash plugin

Sat Dec 09, 2017 9:45 pm

Hi!
I hope this wasn't aked before (I searched for it).

I installed the latest Firefox ESR version (52.5) on mi Raspberry Pi 3b with Raspbian/Debian 9.1.
Then I wanted to install the flash plugin and followed the install instructions:
* download flash_player_npapi_linux.i386.tar.gz
* extract
* copy libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
* copy files from usr directory to usr.

But still when I restart Firefox, it still tells me that flash is not installed and I can't find it in the plugin menu...

Can anybody please tell me what I did wrong?

Thank you!

That plugin is for running on an Intel compatible processor, while the Pi uses an ARM processor which is not compatible with it.
