I'm used to Ubuntu so I followed the procedure and it normally works....

I use terminal to create the necessary files viz;-

home/pi/dos/c/application.exe

using $ mkdir -p ~/dos/c

also down load dosbox with:-

sudo apt-get install dosbox

which works fine,

then at the pi$ prompt;-

dosbox

and Z: appears on the screen with lots of expected banner stuff.

But 'Oh Dear' the keyboard has given up ! With the back space yields '5' and then locks up !

What do I do next ?

Any thoughts most welcome !

A puzzled,

Tim

Actually you may be better off with a pre-configured Raspbian Jessie with emulators like RetroPie:
