Ethernet stop working

Hello,
Today, after 7 months with 24/7 uptime and no changes, my Raspberry Pi 3 model B lose the ethernet connection. The green and orange leds, sometimes blinks together but then stays off. I have check the ethernet cable and router but no luck. The OS is Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (no GUI), but i have try with a new SD card and fresh installation of Raspbian Jessie lite but same problem.
ifup/ifdown and networking restart runs without errors.
Maybe the ethernet controller dies?
