Stuttering Bluetooth Audio output when Wifi is on

Sat Mar 04, 2017 11:16 am

Hi,

While trying out the new Pi Zero W Raspbian Bluetooth Audio output I noticed the Audio was very choppy unless the Wifi was disabled with sudo ifconfig wlan down.

I think I read that this is also a feature of the Pi 3B built in Wifi/Bluetooth.

Does anyone know of a fix for Raspbian/Pixel or if the Raspberry Pi foundation is working on a fix?.

I'm using the 2017-2-16 Raspbian Pixel image with the 2017-3-3 update (thanks to the RPF for fixing the disappearing Pixel Taskbar when accessing Bluetooth Audio output).

Regards

Nick

I have observed the opposite effect on my pi zero w. I use mine to scan for bluetooth devices.
Whenever the pi scans with bluetooth pings are either delayed or completely ignored.
