Bluetooth Issue

Mon Jan 02, 2017 8:40 pm

Raspberry pi3
latest Jessie

I have successfully paired my vizio Bluetooth speaker. However, when I am trying to select the speaker as my audio input by right clicking the audio icon, I get the following error:

Code: Select all

Failed to connect to a device
          GDBus.Error.org.bluez.Error.NotReady
Resource Not Ready. Try to connect again

I have tried to install and reinstall pi-bluetooth and audiopulse, but couldn't able to solve the issue

Can you try running

Code: Select all

pulseaudio --start
before right clicking the speaker icon?
Also, you should already have pulseaudio-module-bluetooth installed. If not install it and then repeat the above.
Good luck.

If you have blueman installed, uninstall it.

Is Blueman installed by default? I am having similar issues when the connection goes idle. I can't reconnect without rebooting.
