Hello,

We've been running a pi in our office connected to a tv to show some dashboard analytics, the pi boots automatically and loads a browser in fullscreen mode.

For the past couple of days we've had no a page cannot be displayed, i assumed it was an issue with our analytics but having looked into it we appear to have no internet connection to the pi.

I've run an ethernet cable around the office (its mounted on the wall) and rebooted the pi but there is no connection to our network.

I've got to get a wireless keyboard and mouse tomorrow at some point but does anyone have any suggestions or things i can check, am i able to remove the SD card and make changes through terminal on my mac in the mean time?

Your mention of the RPi booting automatically makes me wonder if it is being powered off overnight. And as it doesn't appear to have a keyboard attached I further wonder if it is having power removed without first being properly shut down. Doing that can cause corruption of the file system leading to the thing not working as expected.

Can you see the boot up LED? What do you get? Does anything appear on the screen?

If the file system is corrupted by a random shutdown, you should see some LED activity when attempting to boot. When the file system is working, you should get something on the display. At that point your system is writing to /var/log/syslog. Put the microSD card in your other computer and browse syslog for errors.
