Hello, my name is Abraham .

I bought the vga666 adapter with the idea of working with my raspberry using the dual display function .

I have set as indicated in the manual available on github : https://github.com/fenlogic/vga666

But does not the dual display. When configuring the file config.txt . The video output vga but not by the hdmi .

Using the program omxplayer. I can send a video signal by hdmi.

I want to know if it is possible to use dual display with rdesktop . Because in my company we want to change thin client by raspberry.

Hey there, any progress? I am trying to do the same thing. An alternative would be going via a DisplayLink USB to DVI adapter...

Vga666 doesn't work for extended desktop.

I have seen some tutorials using usb vga plugable with raspberry . For example : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTcU5YSq-Ww or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XA95jzOyA9w

However, I don't know if it really works well with raspberry . And I don't know what has screen resolution . Also I wonder if you can use remote and extended desktop .

What you (currently) can't do is run desktop apps on both of them. The desktop only runs on one screen. Certain apps (omxplayer, kweb?) can be told to use the second screen.

I know, I want to know if plugable usb vga works with dual display and extended desktop.

You can change which device omxplayer displays on using the --display N option, where N is usually 4 or 5 for the two display interfaces (HDMI/DSI or DPI/VGA)

how can i make omxplayer play on another display via hdmi while my desktop is via vga666?

thank you for the reply. but i tried typing omxplayer --display 4 and afterwards also tried 5.but i still plays via vga666.
