GREEN LIGHT SOLID ON

Tue May 31, 2016 9:29 pm

My RPI 2 will not turn on. I am aware that a solid green light signals that there is an issue with my sd card, i have tried reformatting and reinstalling raspbian jessie, yet i have no new results. Please help, as i love my pi.

Uffda !

... remove the SD card and gently blow out the card slot with compressed air (not your breath, unless you buffer your breath through a hannkerchief and a drinking straw ! Anyways, clean the contacts of the SD card and re-seat it and try again. I have one cantankerous PI 2B that I have to re-seat the card almost every time I boot it (I just leave it on mostly).

You might have a damaged pin in the SD card slot. Use a glass and look in there to see if all the little pins are straight and come down into place (fixing this is difficult if they're not ! but, not impossible)
