Trying to get script working

Wed May 25, 2016 4:07 pm

I currently have a RPi3 that is running Jessie Lite. I have it booting to FBI (via script) with an image or slideshow. I want to remove all text when booting. I have a lot of it removed, but the last part I can't seem to remove is after the autologin. Can someone help me get rid of it?
Here is what I have in my cmdline.txt file that is changed "console=tty3 console=null quiet loglevel=3"
My script is this:
"#! /bin/sh
/usr/bin/fbi -a -noverbose /home/pi/slideshow/*.jpg
exit"

The Linux warranty message is in the file '/etc/motd'. If you remove the text from this file, it won't appear in the screen.

Hope this helps,
Dave.

Is there a way to just launch a program without logging in or showing any text? If I remove the warranty info, it will still show some login text (like last login etc)
