Raspberry Pi 3 Not Displaying Through HDMI Properally

Sun May 08, 2016 3:36 pm

Hello! I am sure that some of you have seen problems like these and have come up with solutions that work. The problem that I am having is that no matter what extra lines of configuration I add, I see the opening splash screen (The color testing square thing) then my monitor says that it is going to sleep. I am running BerryBoot on my Pi, I also have an SD card with OSMC on it that works perfectly with the monitor. Thank you for your help!

Note:
Here are the lines of configuration I have added:

Code: Select all

hdmi_force_hotplug=1
config_hdmi_boost=4
hdmi_drive=2
Thanks again.

Rasbian Jessie?

I have seen that a few times on my DVI-D monitor (usually after I messed with the OpenGL driver and set gpu_mem= too high.

Try this:

open your /config.txt in any text editor, and comment (#) out everything in there, then see if you boot up.

Ok, I think I know where I wen't wrong. I set my gpu_mem to 128. I have yet to try and see if it works. Thank you for your support
