pZero GPIO voltage

I am trying my piZero for the first time and I can get it to boot ok and use the wifi dongle but cannot seem to get any power out of the GPIO connector.

I am using the pinouts I found here.

And I am presuming that this diagram is showing the components on the top so that the 5v will be top left.

There is only one LED on the board and that is green.

Any advice on what other tests I can do?

I can't see any jumpers but maybe there is another hardware mod I need to do.

Thanks.

Phil

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Well the image you linked to is of the older pi with a 26-way GPIO connector. Later pi's, including the zero have a 40-way GPIO connector.
This image is a better one for your zero :

No. The 5v (pins 2 and 4) and 3.3v (pins 1 and 17) are always active when the board is powered.

Note that Pin 1 on the newly-linked diagram is shown by a square box: the physical board is marked with the same symbol, so orientation should be clear.

You do of course need to add connectors of some sort to the bare PiZero board to make the connections.
