Hi,

I have a raspberry pi 2 to use for media streaming, I have an official RPI wifi dongle plugged in and also a wireless mouse and keyboard dongle. I am getting the rainbow logo in the top right which I believe means not enough power, what sort of plug do you suggest and if so, any links for Amazon (uk)

Thank you very much for all your time,

Samuel; RPI2 user

It's definitely a power supply issue. The type of power adapter and cable you get is up to you.

Just make sure that the power adapter is no less than 1A, or you're going to have more problems. 2A is recommended.

The cable should be able to carry a minimum of 1A too. If it's thin, or really flimsy, the wires inside may not be able to give you the power needed. If, by some miracle, you find a supplier online that sells micro USB cables with copper wire in them, you shouldn't have too many issues, but otherwise, I'm going to have to suggest that you visit your local electronics store (or make your own).

In case it's not obvious, I've had a few issues with this myself (especially when it comes to cables).
