Script failure

Wed Dec 02, 2015 11:16 pm

Hi
I'm having trouble with KODI, when the home screen boots up, I get a '1channel script failure' message pop up and then an automatic reboot, I don't have time to go to settings to try and sort this, it just reboots back to the home screen and then the message appears! Can anyone help please?

Your post title does not attract people who would know what your problem is; it should be something more specific ("Kodi boot, script error"?). Kodi is a media centre and a lot of people may not have used it

You also don't give a lot of information:
* Did this happen on a new install, or has it occurred on a working system?
* Have you changed anything?
* Where did you get Kodi from and what instructions did you use to install it?
* Which model of the Pi are you using?

Also:
* What have you done to fix it (if anything)?
* Have you looked on, e.g. Google, for similar issues?

I used Google. One site gave the response "the troubles are over after the latest update released for the add-on by the developers of 1Channel. The new release version is 2.5.2 and the release has been made on the 16 of October, 2014"

Hi
Thanks for your reply, I'm a newbie so am a bit inexperienced with what to put. Thanks for the heads up, I'll repost and be more specific.

Don't re-post. It is better to stick to one thread. You can edit the post title of you original post.

Edit: And duplicate threads get locked.
