Help!my hard disk dock can't connect the pi

my hard disk dock can't connect the pi.the dock has usb 3.0 interface.i found the pi change the lable sdb from the lable sda usually.why?and how to solve,thank you very much!

If you are using Raspbian, and starting up as a GUI desktop, inserting the USB cable will auto-detect the drive and mount it. It will not mount if your power supply is not providing it with enough power.

* Are you using Raspbian, the GUI desktop and an external power supply for the drive?
* Which Pi model do you have?
* What is the make / model of the drive?

If you are using a terminal window, what commands are you using to try to mount it?
