I hope someone can help me, ive had this issue for a couple of weeks.
I have had a Pi B for a couple of years and all was fine. Recently it wouldn't boot, I assumed that the SDcard was corrupt so I re imaged it with the latest rasbian. However all it does is flash 8 times, I have disconnected everything and it still blinks 8 times, I'm not able to work out from the forums what this means, although some people have mentioned the SD and updating it to the latest which I've done.
I do also have a PI2 so i have tested the SD on that and it works fine. So I can only assume that its the board or some difference between the SD between PI versions.
I don't want to throw the B away if I can help it. Any pointers would be appreciated.
