In my earlier post I suggested that it was my usb1.1 key board bringing down eth0
but i now see that it is more complicated than that. It is having a 1.1 usb keyboard and
a 1.1 usb mouse plugged in at the same time that brings down eth0. Either one on its own
does not cause a problem. I can stop the eth0 error messages in the message
log by unplugging the mouse or the keyboard..
That is why some people are reporting the same problem as a mouse problem.
It is really a problem with having more than one 1.1 usb devices plugged in.
